We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting all customers, writing estimates, informing customers of the issues with their vehicles, upselling recommended work, and ordering parts. Our ideal candidate is a team player with excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Write estimates and explain recommended repairs to customers.
- Inform customers of the issues with their vehicles and recommend additional services as needed.
- Upsell recommended work to customers and provide detailed explanations of the benefits.
- Order parts and ensure that they are available for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with the technicians and other staff members.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of automotive repairs and maintenance.
- Prior experience as a Service Writer
