Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in conducting various tests and procedures within a clinical setting. This position requires proficiency in specimen collection (urine, oral and hair).. The Test Technician will contribute to the overall success of our laboratory operations by ensuring accurate testing and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct specimen collection processing, ensuring samples are handled according to established protocols.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during testing procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of tests conducted, including documentation of results and any relevant observations.
- Stay updated on DOT regulations and clinic best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in data entry and attention to detail.
- Fluent in office programs such as excel, word and outlook.
- Familiarity with specimen collection processing methods a bonus but not required. Training will be provided.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure safety and compliance in testing environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and healthcare professionals.
Applicant must be someone who is comfortable with part time hours and not looking to advance in hours later. We do not foresee these hours changing.

Expected hours: 26 per week
