Position
Oversee sales of wholesale accounts, Mardi Gras Krewe accounts,
plush counts, and small custom merchandise customers. Manage the sales
operations of existing accounts and contact prospective customers to increase
sales in this sales division. Maintain a daily work schedule to meet assigned
sales goals and ensure the satisfaction of all customers in this sales division.
Provide professional, clear and timely responses to customer requests
consistent with policies, marketing goals and objectives of the company. Resolve
product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining
the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve
the problem, expediting correction or adjustment and following up, if necessary,
to ensure resolution. Exercise discretion when necessary to protect confidential
information and the business interests of the company and its customers
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities
·Present, promote and sell the
company’s vast line of merchandise and services to existing and prospective
customers
·Establish, develop and maintain
positive business and customer relationships
·Reach out to customer leads
through cold calling and email marketing
·Expedite the resolution of
customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction and sustain
exceptional customer relations
·Oversee small custom orders from
customer inquiry to delivery of merchandise
oEmail customers the Custom Order Pricing Inquiry form
oConfirm that the customer has provided
required information
oSet-up the customer record in Shopify
oProvide order information to the Production Department
oCollect deposit from the customer
oCollaborate with the Bookkeeping and AP and
Receiving departments to process, track, receive, confirm final payment and
deliver orders
·Achieve agreed upon sales
targets and outcomes within required timelines
·Analyze the territory/market’s
potential, track sales and status reports
·Supply management with reports
on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential
for new products and services
·Keep abreast of best practices
and promotional trends
·Continuously improve through customer
feedback
·Plan and attend trade shows
·Ability to interface well with
all departments within the company
·A thorough knowledge of the
company’s products and services
Compensation: $45,000-$52,000 (based on experience)

Environment
The physical demands and work

This position operates primarily
in an office setting. The noise level is
usually moderately quiet. The work area
has high lighting levels, is temperature controlled, and has limited potential
for hazards. This position requires sitting at a desk and involves extensive
computer work. Vision abilities include
close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
This position includes occasional travel to stateside trade shows. These
events could require the employee to be out of town for several days. There are
events and meeting for Mardi Gras Krewes that require to work outside of the
office. Some weekends are required during the Mardi Gras season.
Overtime and/or the necessity to
respond to issues during off hours may be required and at off-site locations
for special events, networking, disaster response, etc.
