The
Skilled Laborer will support project superintendents in field activities, perform physical labor work, and contribute to the timely and successful completion of various projects. This role requires basic carpentry skills (preferred), the ability to work collaboratively, and motivation to grow within a dynamic team environment.
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

- Must have a valid driver’s license.

- Must have reliable transportation.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Perform general manual labor tasks, including loading, unloading, lifting, digging, and moving materials.
- Assist a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
- Prepare layout area where construction will take place by accurately measuring, marking, or recording openings or distances.
- Clean and prepare specific areas of the jobsite as assigned.
- Clean up rubble, debris, and trash; or removing hazardous materials.
- Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Demonstrate excellent work practices through compliance and support for all site safety and health rules and guidelines.

Education, Experience, & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of commercial construction experience preferred
- Flexible, with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Self-starter who can take initiative and drive results

Physical & Mental Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to lift and/or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting to 75 pounds.
- Ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, stretch, pull, drive, and shift gears. Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls, talking and hearing.
- Must be able to traverse worksite in several types of weather and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to make inspections.
- May require standing for extended periods of time. Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth, and the ability to focus.

- This job operates primarily outdoors.
