Customer Service Representative – Front Desk
Hours: 8 am to 5:00 pm,
Division: Baton Rouge, LA
Summary of Position:
The CSR is responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting guests, retrieving there order, answering phones, handling company inquiries, processing work orders and sorting and distributing mail.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls. (See Phone SOP)
- Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable, offer drink.
- Route calls to specific people
- Answer inquiries about the company.
- Take and relay messages.
- Process all orders in bin and send out tracking numbers first thing each morning.
- Check the answering for messages.
- Check the finished bin for jobs completed after standard office hours. Follow SOP for processing completed work orders.
- Check mailbox unless mail was collected the previous afternoon. Sort mail: Give bills to Accounts Payable and other mail to the appropriate person. Process all checks received through the mail.
- Make sure reception area is straight and clean for a great initial impression.
- Hand out employee applications.
- Continually check for and process completed orders that are brought up throughout the day.
- Mail out invoices. This must be done on a daily basis.
- Watch for flags in Control: make sure they are mailed to the appropriate person or e-mailed if needed.
- File work orders.
- Perform daily closeout and take deposits to the bank.
- Take inventory of office supplies and stamps.
- Order/Buy supplies through Office Depot with manager’s approval.
- Print out Built list. Verify what jobs are still here and contact client for pickup if needed. Done bi-weekly.

Qualifications/Skills:
- Professional Appearance
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
- Minimum 2 years office & customer service experience
- Telephone skills
- Microsoft Office Skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
