JOB OVERVIEW: Offshore Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Onshore/Offshore Logistics Supervisor to support safety operations at offshore client work sites. The role includes overseeing contractor safety compliance, managing safety inspections, equipment certifications, material logistics, and post-maintenance data while optimizing operations and controlling costs. The primary responsibility is to direct and coordinate field activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with contractor safety personnel to align safety systems with client standards.
- Review and monitor contractor safety compliance.
- Administer the Job Safety Analysis (JSA/BJSA) program.
- Provide safety orientations to new contractors.
- Supervise daily safety inspections and equipment certification.
- Manage materials, tools, and personnel logistics to ensure operational efficiency and cost control.
- Coordinate with shorebase logistics for proper equipment and personnel coordination.
- Maintain accurate records of material inventory, rental equipment, and movements.
- Liaise with vessels and manage offshore marine, helicopter operations, and crew changes.
- Enter post-maintenance data into SAP for accurate record-keeping.
- Track invoices for timely payments.
- Support drilling and work-over procedures.
- Manage and interpret well operation procedures.
- Maintain inventories and assist the Operator Superintendent as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety supervisory role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of safety standards in onshore/offshore environments.
- Experience with SAP and post-maintenance data management.
- Familiarity with drilling procedures such as coil tubing and API threads.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience with dispatch software (QV21) and geographic knowledge for navigation assistance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in managing complaints and incidents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Well View software.
- Degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 5-7 years of inspection experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Certification in safety management.
- Experience with major oil and gas operators and offshore logistics.

1 year, with a high likelihood of extension or conversion to full-time employment.
