This position may be a great opportunity for individuals with the following experience: nanny, babysitter, camp counselor.
Typical Job Duties:
- Work 1:1 and in small group with young children diagnosed with autism.
- Implement programs developed by a Licensed Behavior Analyst to teach children communication, social, early learner, and other daily living skills.
- Work as a team with other therapists and under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the classroom.
Work Schedule
- Typical work week 35 to 40 hours.
- Monday to Friday 7:30-4:00pm.
- No nights and No weekends.
Qualifications:
- Required: High school diploma.
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in a related field such as Family and Child Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Education, Speech-Language Pathology, or Kinesiology.
- 1-year experience working with children.
- Strong verbal communication skills (speaking & listening) and strong interpersonal skills.
- No past criminal history.
- Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
Salary:
- Bachelor's Degree: Starting salary of $16.00/hour with the opportunity of advancement to up to $20.00/hour with our promotion pipeline.
- Non-Degree: Starting salary of $14.00/hour with the opportunity of advancement to up to $16.00/hour with our promotion pipeline.
