Job Summary
We are seeking a
Document Control Specialist to join our team! You will be working closely with Engineering & Design personnel to create and maintain accurate and compliant engineering capital and maintenance project documentation. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate has experience utilizing document management software, is an expert us utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel, while also possessing excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Execution of document management processes on engineering capital and maintenance projects
- Receive, review, electronically file, and distribute multi-discipline engineering and fabrication records
- Send/receive transmittals of fabrication/engineering records to/from vendor
- Track & report document & drawing review status
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute team action item list, meeting minutes
- Maintain project document index
- Submit documents for internal review/approval
- Able to understand and interpret drawing redline markups and revision blocks. Seek clarification if required from project stakeholders
- Complete work in a timely manner
- Work closely with other members of the drafting team as well as design partners to verify accuracy and details
- Follow all company guidelines for best practices
- Track all time spent on projects accurately
Qualifications
- 3+ Years of Document Control experience for EPC or Owner / Operator projects
- Expert use of document editing & review tools such as Bluebeam & Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- The ability to work well within a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time
- Interpersonal skills to work within a small team, taking direction from Engineering & Design Personnel
