The Cure Room Lead manages the drying and curing process under the supervision of the Quality Control Manager (QCM). The Lead is responsible for overseeing all the dry rooms/cure rooms throughout the facility.
Essential Duties

Supervises Cure Room technicians

Ensures that Cure Team is inspecting the dry room’s humidity, temperature, moisture, and lights at start of day and end of day.

Adjusts dry room’s controllers, if necessary, based off the flower’s moisture level and environment.
- Takes data recordings of relative humidity, temperature, moisture readings and any other data points listed on batch trackers.
- Communicates with management.

Trains and supervises technicians to be able to monitor dry rooms and report conditions.
- Ensures that technicians properly do burping.

Follows cleaning procedures.
- Ensures consistent quality of product and meets company’s standards.
- Follows all safety protocols and trains technicians.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check
-
Passion for the craft of drying and curing cannabis flower.

Identify A grade, B grade and C grade flower.
-
Identify the difference between flower, popcorn, shake and trim.

Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally.

Must perform under high pressure situations.

Ability to stay focused

Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Computer experience preferred

1+ years of experience working in industrial production is strongly preferred
