Pneumatic and Hydraulic Co a growing resale distributor, is seeking a part time Data Systems Analyst Intern for our Broussard, LA location.

Central Job Duties Include

Responsible for collecting, processing and performing statistical analysis on company data
Evaluates and enhances current models related to underlying statistical and mathematical methods, data quality, and software implementation
Develops independent tests and designs experiments for data collection, analyzation and validation
Validates data, identify data quality issues (if any), and work with technology to address them
Compile and maintain data related to required quarterly filings, annual Risk Assessment, and other accounting/ management reporting as requested
Provides ad hoc statistical and accounting support and reports
Creates documentation related to projects and/or system changes to ensure they are properly communicated to the field
Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized and formats for reports
Studies existing information processing and analyzing methods to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or workflow as required
Performs other duties as requested by management

Job Requirements Include

Minimum 1 year in data systems analyzing or informatics
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data quality assessment
Experience with MS Office
Background of working in database management systems
Teamwork and collaboration abilities

Pre-employment requirements consist of background check and a drug & alcohol analysis.

Salary commensurate with experience.
