Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical imaging and a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care through the use of ultrasound technology to assist in diagnosing Cardiac and Vascular Disease.

Duties

Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess and interpret ultrasound results.
Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns they may have.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care decisions.
Keep detailed records of ultrasound procedures and patient interactions, adhering to medical terminology standards.
Stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques and technologies to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

Experience in performing Echo, Carotid, Arterial, Venous, Venous Reflux and Abdominal Ultrasound is required.
Proven experience in medical imaging, specifically in sonography.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound practices.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and safety protocols within a clinical environment.
Certification or licensure as required by state regulations for ultrasonographers.

Pay: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour
