Develops and implements a plan of care based on an assessment of nutritional needs and in correlation with other integrated members of the Health Care Team for hospital patients and rehabilitation center patients.
Counsels individual and families in nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selections and adapts plans to the individual's life style for inpatients and outpatients.
Communicates appropriate recommendations for diet history and nutritional care data through electronic medical records
Assists in planning regular and therapeutic diet nemus as prescribed by the attending physician
Available as an educational resource to the health care team, patients and families. Participates in research activities. Evaluated and recommends new products.
