Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off, 12-hour shifts
Overview:
Stratigos Dynamics, Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Specialist to join our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team in Lake Charles, LA. In this role, you will be pivotal in upholding our rigorous security standards, ensuring the safety and protection of our employees, visitors, and client property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Monitoring & Coordination: Efficiently monitor, track, and coordinate incidents that may impact business operations, utilizing a variety of systems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Emergency Response: Collaborate seamlessly with security personnel and external partners during emergencies and routine events. Dispatch security officers, fire patrol, law enforcement, and EMS as needed.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional support to external partners through various communication channels, including email, phone, radio, and CCTV monitoring.
- Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all incidents and escalate issues to management when necessary. Maintain a precise log of equipment and keys issued to security personnel.
- Policy Adherence: Consistently follow Stratigos Dynamics, Inc. policies and procedures in all situations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced computer ability.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage high-stress situations effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and multitask efficiently.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Requirements: - Licenses & Certifications:
- Security Guard License issued by LSBPSE or eligibility to obtain one.
- Valid and unexpired Driver’s License.
- Clean Criminal Background and Motor Vehicle Report.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Security, Corrections, Law Enforcement, Military, IT, or Customer Service (preferred).
- 2 years of experience in a GSOC environment (preferred).
- Prior experience in dispatch, call centers, or GSOC operations is a plus.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods, lift small packages up to 20 pounds, and perform some walking duties. Must remain alert and vigilant while on duty.
- Must be over 21 years of age.

Additional Information:
- Probationary Period: The first 90 days of employment will be considered a probationary period.

Relocation: Candidates must be able to reliably commute or be willing to move to Lake Charles, LA before starting work. Stratigos Dynamics, Inc. does offer a relocation package.
