National Homecare Services has been serving patients in Northern Louisiana for over 35 years. We use a multi-disciplinary approach in providing care to our patients, combining skilled nursing, home health aides, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure that our patients receive the best care for their individual needs. Our priority is compassion and care, to both our patients and our team. Currently, we are looking for a wonderful Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of professionals!
Working with National Homecare Services gives you the unique opportunity as the Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care in the comfort of the patients’ own home. As a home health Registered Nurse (RN) , you will travel to patients’ homes within a specified radius, providing individualized care to each patient, which provides you the opportunity to experience and learn new things.
Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:
- Utilize nursing knowledge and skills to deliver excellent individualized care to patients within the comfort of their homes.
- Gather data, evaluate patients, and maintain patient files, records, and other information in a professional manner, following the correct policies and procedures.
- Coordinate communication effectively with all parties involved in the patients’ care: caregivers, family, physicians, other home health team members, etc, to coordinate optimal care.
- Ability to adapt to change with a positive attitude.
- Report changes in patient condition and needs to the Clinical Manager
What you bring to the table as the Registered Nurse (RN):
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing
- One year experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Must hold a current state or compact state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Time Management Skills
- Organizational Skills
- Demonstrate good judgment in patient care
- Excellent communication skills
- Dependable transportation, driver’s license, and car insurance
- CPR Certified
- Willingness to serve others
