Job Description
Our synergetic Ethos team is seeking a
full-time IT Support Technician to be onsite at our Broussard, LA office providing entry-level technical support to our team members across the company. Your responsibilities will include responding to helpdesk tickets, troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues, assisting with system configurations, and managing inventory. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming helpdesk requests via email, text, and verbal communication.
- Troubleshoot basic software and hardware issues, escalating when necessary.
- Perform system imaging, software installations, and user configurations.
- Assist with setting up new user accounts and handling terminations.
- Track and maintain asset inventory (e.g., provisioning, shipping, reconciliation).
- Assist with network connectivity troubleshooting and standard hardware setups.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain helpdesk issue documentation.
- Support IT-related projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience: Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and software systems. Familiarity with computer terminology, email, and networking concepts.
- Certifications: IT certifications are a plus.
- Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Office 365, and basic networking concepts is desirable.
Working Conditions
- This is a full-time, in-office position at our Broussard, LA office. The working hours are from 10 AM to 7 PM CST to support our team in the Pacific Time Zone.
- Occasional travel to local facilities for equipment shipping and retrieval.
- Frequent prolonged periods of a stationary position, with occasional periods setting up physical hardware at desks and in the equipment closet. Constant operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as network routers and switches, copy machine/printer. May need to lift equipment up to 50lbs.
