We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mailroom Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and shipments. You will be responsible for maintaining a well-organized mailroom and providing exceptional service to internal departments.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments.
- Prepare and process outgoing mail, including labeling, postage, and scheduling courier services.
- Maintain records of shipments and receipts.
- Operate and maintain mailroom equipment such as postage meters, scanners, and printers.
- Monitor inventory of mailroom supplies and reorder as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a mailroom or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in operating standard mailroom equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
