Primary Job Duties:
Organize and maintain files from case inception through discovery, resolution or trial, post-trial and case closure;
Assist with all aspects of case litigation, preparation and identification of exhibits for motions, mediation, depositions, hearings and trial;
Conduct factual investigations to identify key parties and relevant documents for the preparation of discovery;
Assist in the preparation of discovery requests and discovery responses;
Coordinate depositions, mediations, and/or hearings as requested by attorney;
Draft various pleadings;
Conduct legal research using Fast Case, LexisNexis and/or Westlaw;
Verify case citations in briefs for current validity and accuracy through LexisNexis and/or Westlaw;
Interact with government entities, physician offices, hospital and court officials as well as with clients;
Assist in trial with exhibits, demonstrative aids and witnesses;
Maintain attorney calendar is up-to-date with case deadlines;
Maintain up-to-date medical records and chronology binders;
Schedule and coordinate with case experts;
Maintain time sheets and meet firm deadlines.

Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved school'
