Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Able Bodied Seaman to join our maritime team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessel while providing exceptional service to passengers and crew. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and hospitality, as well as the ability to adapt to various tasks on board.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the navigation and operation of the vessel under the direction of the captain and senior crew members.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly.
- Prepare meals and assist with food service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the galley.
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures, ensuring readiness for any situation.
- Collaborate with fellow crew members to maintain a positive working environment and uphold company standards.
- Conduct inspections of safety equipment and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a maritime environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality; ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic cooking skills or experience in food preparation; knowledge of dietary restrictions is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of rigging and maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor as required by the job duties.
- A valid maritime certification or license is required, with an Able Body endorsement.
- Must have Anchor Handling Experience

Pay: $300.00 - $430.00 per day
