TALENT ACQUISITION COORDINATOR
GEISMAR, LA
Contract, 6 months
Pay Rate: $21-22/hr.
Position Summary:
The primary functions of this position are to deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers while supporting the daily employment office functions. Responsible for onboarding new employment candidates including but not limited to conducting pre-employment health screens, preparing new hire packets, handling applicant walk ins, scheduling candidates to process, compliance related items forms.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides customer service to employment candidates that includes but not limited to assisting candidates with job application, hiring processes, job information and reporting instructions.
- Administrative duties such as answering phones, taking messages, filing, uploading maps/bills/employee documents, updating pre-placement tabs, etc.
- System updates: Confirmed, Processing, Pending Dispatch, Rehire Needed and rescheduling any medical/safety council/gatefeed.
- Performs activities, and updates requisitions as related to the hiring process (background checks, drug screen, health screen, I9 compliance, E-verify compliance, employment paperwork, site specific requirements, client specific training)
- Review completed hire packets for accuracy and compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Maintain employee documents in a confidential manner.
- Preparing payroll documents such as direct deposit and W4 to be send to payroll.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Experience:
- Technical skill with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to quickly learn Tracking Management System.
- Excellent people skills including collaboration, communication.
- High level of customer service.
- Attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years Customer Service experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of employment laws/compliance
- Prior experience in: Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Construction and/or Nuclear Industries
