DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processes new and renewal submissions in Gray Surplus Lines Insurance Company proprietary systems promptly;
- Collaborate with brokers, underwriting, business development, management, or other departments, as needed, to resolve internal or external issues;
- Supports the Underwriting Department through established standards and priorities that are responsive to marketing, underwriting, retention, and service goals;
- Performs administrative functions as needed, and
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- High School diploma required;
- Experience in the insurance industry preferred but not required;
- Basic to intermediate competency in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting established deadlines;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
