Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of experience in fire prevention or fire suppression as a firefighter; OR
Military service in any capacity plus six months of experience in fire prevention or fire suppression as a firefighter.

Examples of Work
Conducts fire drills and attends fire drill training.
Cleans and maintains equipment and operates fire vehicles.
Inspects buildings to prevent fires and prepares reports.
Attacks and extinguishes structural fires.
Evacuates buildings and fights fires.
Attends training in fire prevention, fire fighting and fire safety.
Performs emergency medical/first aid techniques to injured victims.
