Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming calls from customers.
-Make note of important necessary information from customer to relay to the driver.
- Dispatch drivers to appropriate locations based on customer requests and driver availability.
- Monitor driver performance and address any issues or concerns that arise.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Familiarity with phone systems and the ability to handle a high volume of calls
- Knowledge of transportation management principles and practices
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working in the transportation industry is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to analyze information quickly and make informed decisions
